Following education at the University of Buffalo (NY) and service as an Infantry Officer in the US Army, Dick Sheehan spent the next ten years in the corporate world. He was involved in sales, marketing, advertising and brand development, nationally and internationally. In 1978 he moved his young family to northern Palm Beach County, Florida and incorporated Sheehan Realty Corporation in 1980. Since then, Dick and his Sheehan Realty Corporation team have assisted thousands of clients in the acquisition or sale of property here in Southeast Florida; and providing consulting in development and marketing.

Mr. Sheehan has served the community for more than 30 years, active with civic organizations and charitable events. He has served as President of the North Palm Beach Little League; Chairman of the Governing Board of the Loxahatchee River Environmental Control District, a State Agency serving the 75 square mile Loxahatchee River District. He is a past Member of the Florida Bar Association 15th Judicial Court Grievance Committee and also served for over 8 years as a Governing Board Member for the Club at Admirals Cove. He is currently Chairman of the Board for The First Tee of the Palm Beaches, which he helped found. As a member of the business community, Mr. Sheehan enjoys the respect of many of the area’s foremost law firms, accounting firms, title companies and other brokerage firms.
