Steve is a graduate of Syracuse University (AB Degree in Arts & Sciences), Boston College Law School (Juris Doctorate) and NYU Law School (LLM in Taxation Law). Admitted to the bar in New Jersey and New York, he was the business and tax partner in a prominent Morristown, NJ law firm. In 1991, he become a principal in a telecommunications expense management firm which he and his partners subsequently sold to a public company in 1994.
Since relocating to Jupiter, Florida in 1999, Steve has been active as a licensed Florida Realtor, focusing on both commercial and luxury residential real estate (specializing in club and waterfront communities) clients and transactions.
Steve’s knowledge of the club industry and multi-faceted experience with these clubs and communities is extensive. This includes his nearly 20 years of combined service on club boards at both Cedar Hill Golf & CC in Livingston, NJ and Admiral’s Cove in Jupiter, FL (including two-term stints as President of both Clubs) and work providing real estate and strategic consulting services to golf and club communities throughout the United States.
He is a candidate for the prestigious CCIM designation in commercial real estate and was awarded the NAR designation as a Resort & Second Property Specialist (RSPS).
His leadership has also been demonstrated through his extensive community and civic involvement. Most recently, he was appointed by Florida’s Governor to serve as a Director on the Governing Board of the Loxahatchee River District (LRD). The LRD provides state of art wastewater treatment facilities, innovative water recycling programs, extensive river research and monitoring, and environmental education.
Steve is Vice Chairman of The First Tee of the Palm Beaches. He serves on the Corporate Board of Jupiter Medical Center. He has also served as a Commissioner on the Town of Jupiter Planning & Zoning Commission, Vice Chair of the Township of Livingston, NJ Zoning Board, President and Board Member of the Livingston Symphony Orchestra.
